Music City hosted its 2nd Annual Nashville Fashion Week this past week with five days of the city's best fashion on display. I was lucky enough to be in attendance this year as a writer for The DBL Standard here in Nashville, and got an up-close look at all the latest in Nashville fashion. The collections were a little hit-or-miss for me, but when it comes to fashion, everyone has their own aesthetic. One collection that I was impressed by was Wednesday night's closer, Zang Toi, presented by Gus Mayer. The collection was a feast for the eyes, with bold colors, beautiful textures, and classic silhouettes. I loved the luxurious feel of each piece in the collection and admired the combination of Old Hollywood and modern glamour. I'm not sure, however, about the multi-colored men's jacket. Maybe a bit over-the-top, but it definitely turned heads coming down the runway. Check out the photos:

What did you think about Zang Toi?
Check back tomorrow for another featured designer. And make sure you check out The DBL Standard for more on my review of NFW!
Until next time...
